I love a good retro release. You know, with all the liner notes. History you can sink your teeth into. Strata-circuit and Dust prone future were recorded within days of each other in July 1999. Probably ground zero for conception of Moods of Love. These two tracks showcase a newly acquired Sequential Circuits Pro One synth, dustily liberated from under a bed in Warrandyte. With all the excited puppy new toy experimentation that propels creativity fed by a steady diet of Trans Am's "Surveillance" and "Future World", these tracks were recorded to Tascam 4 track cassette. 25 years later the original drum and synth tracks have been salvaged and brought kicking and screaming into the 21st century for your listening pleasure with modern sprinklings courtesy of the Yamaha CS reface.
