In 2001 the shift from analogue to digital took a giant step, and I started to focus more on electronic music and recording with a computer. Air, Herbie Hancock and Kraftwerk had fuelled my interests and my synth collection had grown to include the Pro One, Jupiter 6, Korg MS20, Studio 440 sampler/sequencer and a Sherman Filterbank. When Boards of Canada appeared on the radar around this time I was obsessed completely. This selection of home recordings owes much to their influence, and the spirit of experimentation with devices. Suddenly I had limitless options and the world had expanded. The "Moods of Love" project was born.
